What to expect
Whether you’re gone for one night or an extended period of time, your dog will feel right at home in our comfortable, loving environment. Our spacious dog kennels and luxury suites will make them feel like they’re on a vacation of their own!
Our facility is equipped with all of the amenities your pooch will need, including plenty of spots for exercise and supervised play with daycare guests and other vacationing dogs. Each pup is unique, which is why we offer a variety of activities, toys and spaces catered to dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including a 3,000-square-foot outdoor play area.

Regular season:
- All boarding rates include daycare.
- Boarding pets picked up after 12 p.m. will incur an extra $30 daycare fee.

Are reservations required?Daycare reservations are required. Make your reservation through our client dashboard.

When can I pick up or drop off my dog?For your convenience, we offer flexible pick-up and drop-off times. We are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. All clients must arrive by 1 p.m. Half-day stays must be checked in between 6 to 9 a.m. (for morning stays) or 12 to 1.p.m (for afternoon stays).

How old does my dog need to be? Do they need their vaccines?Your pet must be at least 16 weeks of age and current on their vaccines. It is your responsibility to bring proof of your dog’s vaccination history at enrollment and every time their vaccines are renewed. By North Carolina law, we may not admit dogs over 16 weeks that are not current on their rabies vaccinations. Please read our policies and procedures page for more information.

Will my dogs be around other dogs?K9 Playland Resort is a group-play, off-leash environment under the supervision of trained staff. Please read our policies and procedures page for more information.

What if my dog is aggressive?For the safety of our team and other canine clients, we do not accept aggressive animals. If your pet displays aggression or severe behavioral issues, it will be removed from daycare and asked not to come back for services.
